Tasmania, Victoria, New South Wales, the Australian Capital Territory and South Australia all have daylight saving, while Queensland, the Northern Territory and Western Australia do not.

• Eat some good breakfasts this week!

Market day

 Hello today im going to be talking about the market day that we had on Wednesday the 23 of September.  On that amazing day we were selling things that  we had been making for about 2 or 3 weeks.We had to ask for a $20 loan to help start our business and so that we could start production. But anyway On that Wednesday period 1&2 we began to setup our stand. It was about ten minuets to set up the stand and get the plants on the table.  Then we waited for people to arrive so that we could start to sell our product. This is the stand that me and my group made.
We turned plastic bottles in to plant holders. We were growing sweet pea flowers. We spent $19.50 on the seeds soil and we were gonna make hanging ones but we didn't have the time to make them. I really liked how much people were there having fun and getting along. In total we made $33.50 from selling our product. If I could change anything about that experiences I would make it so we had a bit more time to make something. I think that the day went very well because lots of people showed up and brought things. I thought that my group and I would not sell anything but we did so I was accurately proud of the group because we all thought we would not sell a single plant. I think that if we had more time we would of been able to make a better product.

Food Groups Meal Plan

 Your Task: Create a meal plan for 1 day that includes all the necessary amounts for each of the 4 Food Groups

Vegetables + Fruit - at least 3 servings of vege and 2 servings of fruit every day 

Grain foods - 6 servings each day (check portion sizes)

Milk/Milk products - 2 servings

Legumes/Nuts/Seeds/Fish/Seafood/Eggs/Poultry/Meat etc. - 2 servings

Becoming A Martian

 When can a mission to Mars (or from Mars)  happen? Why? Every 26 months. Because the two planets there aliened.

What are two geological features of mars?  Like Earth, and Venus.  Mars has mountains and valleys.

What is one possible solution for the story about oxygen on Mars?  NASA could bring there machine called MOXIE it uses Electricity to split carbon dioxide into carbon monoxide.

If it dose not rain on mars where does the water come from? The water comes from the polar ice caps when it melts.

How will people get food on Mars?  What is a possible solution? They could get food on mars by using something  called hydroponics.

Hero VS Villain

For Hurumanu 4 we have been doing writing and art.

One dark and gloomy day a tan male wearing Gray pants with black gloves, and a black top was walking around inside a doomsday bunker.He got to the border and they asked for his name. He replied “Hi my name is Max” SUDDENLY a dark figure appears in the shadows and all you can see is  a light white/gray glow around it.

The bunker looks abandoned but as you go in more it starts looking more and more civilized.There's plants, animals, humans , houses and loads more.Max confronted the shadow and asked “What are you doing in the shadows sir?” 

The shadow just stares at him. Max starts to worry. SUDDENLY the shadows eyes went from a dark color to red. One of the soldiers grabbed Max and said “Ok sir. Time to go now.” Max just went along with the soldier. They went through the city center. 

Everyone was booing and throwing things at Max and the soldier. They get to the center of the city. 

Max gets pushed angrily by the soldier and falls over.Max looks  up at the dark figure and asks “what is going on?” the figure just stares at Max then looks at a soldier. 

The soldier picks Max up. The dark figure strikes Max in the chest. Max is startled by the figure striking his  chest.The soldier lets Max go and Max strikes the figure in the head.A Gigantic battle breaks out between the figure and Max. 

Max isn't giving up, ever is the dark figure “They are strong aren't they” one of the soldiers says to a civilian.

One of the civilians stops the fight between Max and the figure and asks what the fight was about.

They both look at the civilian. Maxs and the Figure walk different ways.They rest and have something to eat and drink. After about 3 hours they meet again and so the fight begins again.The fight goes on for hours.one of the civilians says “They just keep getting up” All of a sudden they heard a loud bang and they both looked down to see blood pouring from their chests.  They both just lay on the ground slowly dying.the peoples minds where back to normal and the guards block the area off and the people live happy ever aft
